Event Wave was proud to again provide system design, equipment, and engineering for the second annual “San Diego Makes Music” collaborative performance. This innovative concert experience allowed talented amateur musicians to sit side-by-side onstage with the all-star Mainly Mozart Festival Orchestra. Audience members were also invited to sing and play along throughout the concert.
The main PA system, which consisted of 12 JBL Vertec VT4886 line array elements per side, along with 3 VT4883 subwoofers in cardioid configuration, evenly covered the Spreckels Organ Pavilion venue in beautiful Balboa Park. FOH duties were handled by a Yamaha CL5 with Rio3224-D and Rio1608-D I/O onstage.
